Still nascent, predictive coding challanges document review methods, defensibility

Document review is still the most expensive, time-consuming, and resource intensive aspect of ediscovery,but the technology employed to automate what has long been done by a fleet of reviewers is quickly becoming the industry norm. To this point, computer-assisted review, or “predictive coding” as it’s commonly known, has the ability to significantly reduce costs by improving the speed and effectiveness of data searching, its advocates say.
